Global Excel Summit 2024 starts in a couple of hours — and I’m sleep-deprived
Quick gripe to start the morning with: pillows.

It doesn’t seem to matter whether I’m in a budget Travelodge or an expensive hotel in West London — the pillows are never up to standard.
At home, I have a memory foam pillow. It’s firm, comfortable, and guarantees a good night’s sleep.
Here, not only do I have four pillows, but they’re all soft, meaning my heavier-than-average head sinks right into them, whether I opt for a single, double, treble, or quadruple stack.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to be given two soft pillows and two firm ones to cater for different needs?
Firm pillows > soft pillows
Anyway, in more positive news, Global Excel Summit 2024 gets underway in a couple of hours, and I’m just a stone’s throw away from where the action will take place.

I’ll be part of the ‘backstage’ crew, pushing the buttons, pulling the levers, turning the dials, and all of that jazz.
It promises to be a great first day, so if you’re coming, enjoy the show!
