Excel usage in the workplace
Acuity Training recently published the results of their research into Excel usage in the workplace.
They polled 1,000 office workers earlier this year across a range of industries to find out numerous things relating to competence and time spent in Excel.
There are four sections:
đź”— Excel Facts & Statistics: New Original Research For 2022
đź”— How Good Are People’s Excel Skills?
đź”— How Many People Have Ever Had Formal Excel Training?
đź”— How Much Do People Use Excel At Work?
On the second page, it categorises Excel skills by listing what represents each level.
I don’t know if the participants were shown this before answering, but I was struck by how low the bar was set.
How can knowing the IF function make you an advanced user?
Nevertheless, they’re worth a read.
