Power Query in the Ribbon
Interestingly, the words ‘Power Query’ feature in the Excel for Mac ribbon (albeit in brackets) but don’t in the Windows version. That’s despite the former having a non-existent editor (for now).
In Excel 2010 and Excel 2013, Power Query was an add-in with its own tab. From Excel 2016 onwards, it became an integrated part of the program. However, you wouldn’t necessarily know it existed, given its covert presence.
You have to select the Get Data dropdown just to see the Launch Power Query Editor option.
Given its capabilities and usefulness, isn’t it about time Power Query gained the prominence it deserves?
