Alarm clocks — who uses one anymore?

I’m talking about the dedicated kind — not the virtual one on your smartphone.

Last night, I built a quick alarm clock in Excel.

This was an offshoot of something else I’ve been working on.

There was no snooze button.

There was no way of adding multiple alarms.

And there was no option to change the alarm sound.

Mind you, who wouldn’t want to wake up to a chainsaw?

But it worked — I woke up today at 06:30 to go for a run.

You can add all the bells and whistles you want — but never lose sight of the end goal.

If only this were possible without VBA. 🙄
