Kutools is an Excel add-in with over 300 features and functions that simplify, automate, and expand on what is available natively.
For example, you can:
• combine multiple worksheets or workbooks into one workbook
• sum and count cells based on fill or font colour
• filter values by bold, italic or strikethrough formatting
• choose from a wide range of chart templates
It’s the last point I wanted to pay particular attention to, as these chart templates are cleverly customised versions of the default ones. Despite being generated using Kutools, 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱-𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. That makes them great for sharing, eh?
I’ve been using Kutools for the best part of a decade, and it comes in handy now and then. I can’t say I’ve ever come close to maximising its potential, but it saves having to construct some VBA code to achieve the same thing.
