Acuity Training recently published the results of their research into Excel usage in the workplace.
They polled 1,000 office workers earlier this year across a range of industries to find out numerous things relating to competence and time spent in Excel.
There are four sections:
💡 Excel Facts & Statistics: New Original Research For 2022
💡 How Good Are People’s Excel Skills?
💡 How Many People Have Ever Had Formal Excel Training?
💡 How Much Do People Use Excel At Work?
On the second page, it categorises Excel skills by listing what represents each level.
I don’t know if the participants were shown this before answering, but I was struck by how low the bar was set.
How can knowing the IF function make you an advanced user?
Nevertheless, they’re worth a read.
